Day 3 of the long Martin Luther King Weekend and should be another beautiful day to get out there and enjoy some sun shine and great trails.  Temperatures are currently just below 10 degrees with a high expected to stay below freezing, so dress warm (or ski fast).

The SnoCat stayed down in the Meadow Loop area, adding some snow to the lower entrance of Rowdy Coyote and setting fresh skate on Meadow Loop, Sprint Loop, the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge.

The Ginzu did some skate touch up on Mill Hill, Rowdy Coyote, and the BCT from Mountain Springs all the way out to the Clear Creek Turnaround, freshing all of the loops, while leaving the classic from yesterday.  Use caution on the Rowdy Coyote Cut-off at the top of Hot Tub Hill where the trail is very thin and showing some bare spots, along with areas under the trees.  (Cougar Run, Chainsaw Ridge and Lumi Lane are still closed until we get more snow.)

Use caution in all of the parking lots as it will be icy and micro spikes are definitely recommended.
