Allison-Chinook Provincial Park

The 2023-2024 season was a great one. Thanks to our groomers for their hard work keeping our trails in excellent condition even though the weather did not cooperate for much of the time.
We'll be working over the next several weeks to get trails ready for the summer season. Summer trail improvments will happen in late summer. Stay posted for volunteer work days and come give us a hand.

All summer trail work is complete and we're just finishing up the last minute maintenance on the grooming equipment. Over the summer, we enlarges the Tecumseh trail parking area, rebuilt the trail entrance at Tecumseh, added a locking gate (skiers are able to get through) did major upgrades to Lower Haul from Tecunseh to Martin trail, upgraded Martin from Mainline to the equipment compound. We also added 4 culverts and repaired several problem drainage areas on various trails.
Lots of work has been done on the snow/shoe/fat bike trails by brushing, leveling odd camber areas and rerouting problem areas.
As soon as we have enough snowfall to start packing trails without damaging our equipment, we'll begin. We'll keep you posted.
