Nordic Pulse

Today we are still stuck in the same weather pattern of overnight temps down to around 10 degrees and sunny skies during the day, but the forecast is still calling for snow starting tomorrow.  The amount keeps changing, but we will be happy with whatever comes and allows us to have different weather.   (Not taking anything away from the great skiing we've had..)

The SnoCat set fresh skate on the Meadow Loop, the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge, Mill Hill and Sprint Loop, while the Ginzu's worked the skate lane on Rowdy Coyote and the BCT all the way out to the Clear Creek Turnaround, hitting the loops along the way.

The main areas to be aware of are still Hot Tub Hill, the cutoff from there to Rowdy Coyote and the Hitching Post area. (Cougar Run, Chainsaw Ridge and Lumi Lane are still closed until we get more snow.)

Parking lots are very icy and micro spikes are highly recommended, walk with care.

A Nordic ski race series for all abilities! Choose timed short (~5k) or long (~15-18k) courses, or ski untimed.

Ski anytime during the 4-day window or join the Community Ski Sat 9:30-11:30 AM. Classic and skate options available. Proceeds support Plain Valley Nordic Team.
