Hello skiers. I was able to put in Overlook but I did not groom beyond chickadee Ridge yet. All other trails have been groomed and tracked. The two steep trails, Meadow connector and Lakeview connector are somewhat sparse with tracks. It was 36° when I started the groom. Some of the trails experienced a good bit of melt, and then froze up hard as rock as the temp dropped to 26°. So...the trails that I did later in the evening have pocket marked corduroy. I also did some work on the overlook access so it is easier for you to get from the highway to the trails. There's no 3' cut bank there now. It is more rounded. Sounds like the weather is gonna make for a pleasant ski day tomorrow! I can't wait to go skiing and enjoy the mountains!!
