It is raining lightly this morning after a warm night. Additional competition trails with machine-made snow are open this morning in the biathlon area (Nagano and Salt Lake). Snowcat grooming has occurred on our natural snow trails, but the snow is soft, thin and caution is advised. Bow, Meadowview, and sections of Banff Trail were groomed on Saturday morning (still too thin for tracksetting). Skiing down steeper hills is not recommended (the downhill on Meadowview toward the northwest is particularly rocky where the trail crosses the dry creekbed). Many other smaller trails have been packed, but downhills are still rocky so they are not recommended for skiing. Snowmaking has started on Banff Trail, so this trail is closed between junction 5 and 7. Similarly, trails above the cross country stadium are rocky so connections back from the Meadow remain closed at this time despite preliminary grooming to create a base.

Skiing for beginners on natural snow trails is not recomended.

Please respect snowmaking equipment and stay at least 2m away from operating equipment. Never move snow guns, or cross hoses/powerlines.
