Wed December 11th Update: No new snow recently. Still 24cm of accumulated settled snow at the daylodge. Looks like some snow on the way for the weekend.

We have done some  snowmobile grooming of most trails to pack down the snow and prepare a base. There is still not enough snow to get out our Pisten Bully snow grooming machine and do a proper grooming yet.  We need at least 30cm of accummulated settled snow to bring the big machine out. 

We are NOT open for skiing and snowshoeing yet. Even though we now have some snow and skiing is possible in places, the packed base  is very thin and uneven with many hazards and the trails are not yet properly groomed for skiing. Skiing could be dangerous and will negatively affect  our preparations. We ask that people DO NOT ski or snowshoe right now. 

This report will be updated as things change. Most importantly we'll let you know when we are open and ready for skiing and snowshoeing.  It won't be long now. We are tentatively hoping for Dec 13th opening.
