🚨 Trail Network Opening Update 🚨
We’re excited to welcome you to The Callaghan’s trail network this winter, but we need a little extra time to ensure everything is perfect for our Nordic community.
Opening day is now postponed to next Friday, December 20th.
Our trails have survived the brief warm up over the last week, but in order to protect the trail base and provide you with the best possible experience, the grooming crew has decided not to re-groom the ski trails until we get some more fresh snow (it’s coming!).
Thank you for your patience and understanding — we can’t wait to see you out on the trails soon!

WINTER 2024/25 Opening Day is scheduled for December 13th.
Please remember that resident wildlife, including grizzly bears, are now entering their annual power-eating phase called ‘hyperhagia’. They are biologically programmed to go into hyperdrive in the autumn due to the need to put on a thick layer of life-sustaining fat before turning in for the winter. Time to offer our fellow creatures space by sticking close to populated areas. It is our responsibility to ensure that our recreational pursuits do not contribute to human-wildlife conflict. Do your part to learn more about reducing conflict where we play, and learn more by visiting WildSafeBC & AdventureSmart.
