Rain throughout Monday has created icy conditions on trails and parking lots. Natural snow trails are in poorer condition than those with man-made snow. Classic skiers can expect tracks to be fast and icy.
Snowmaking equipment remains on the upper portion of the Bow Teardrop and sections of Olympic, so these areas are currently closed. Skiers planning on using Sweden or Coyote as a return to the lodge will encounter trail closures. Easy Way Down, Centennial or Freddie's Flip to Banff Trail are recommended alternatives. Skiers planning to go down King of Sweden can ski over to Coyote when they arrive at Olympic.
The Legacy Trail and parking lots are particularly icy, please use caution.
